Today's comment was inspired by something I overheard my coworkers discussing. Apparently, a disgruntled killer whale bit its trainer. My thought was, what if this was the whale's way of expressing its utter dissatisfaction with its chosen career path? Maybe, for killer whales, entertaining tourists is the job equivalent of flipping burgers at McDonald's for life. Since they haven't got opposable thumbs or fax machines to demolish, they're stuck expressing their fury by biting their trainers. Ah, the things I ponder.
