So, in this strip, Zoe is obviously having a flashback. This flashback story arc is based on events that actually happened to someone I know. All names are changed to protect the not-so-innocent. Also, to protect me against potential lawsuits, since I am broke as hell.

In case you're curious, Lia is based on one of my very dearest friends from high school. :D Said friend is crazy addicted to WoW. The fun part about this story arc is going to be giving cameos to old friends. Hooray!

Also, my high school really did have the obnoxious color scheme depicted in this strip. Go Green Wave. They should have stuck with the Fighting Pinecone mascot.
